I`ve Hedged the SELL position already actually... because the week of 25 July was very strong and i therefore had no choice but was forced to BUY into that USD weakness... the target is 1.4194 Stop Loss 1.3594...

I was fortunate enough to be able to add to the selling position yesterday morning before the downfall at 1.3840 the target has been reached 1.3740. i have moved stops to break even on half of that.

Today I added more to the sell position with a target of 1.3540 Stop Loss 1.3939*...

summary

Sell target:1 (1.3540) stop (1.3939) target:2 (1.3077) stop: (1.4577)

buy target:1 (1.4194) *hedge*
stop: (1.3594)

Yeah this all makes sense and jives with my experience. Overtrading and greed fastest way to kill an account.

I believe you have been there.......
The parameter they gave on drawdown, profit target, leverage, maximum/minimum lot size etc limits our greed allowing one to trade in a comfort zone

you never can tell

fomc is very volatile if the statement is heavily good or bad most traders lose money if proper MM is not set

true mindset is key.

can also be scared to take losses with the firms funds also resulting in failure and psychological traumas too
