The penny just dropped that the unexpected dollar rally yesterday was probably a flight to safe haven assets after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Anyone who was wondering about the Retail Sales news producing the opposite reaction. Didn't really make the connection before. We tapped right into an H4 supply on DXY so I believe this will hold in the intirim. Hope to see a nice retrace/rally today on GU but will trade very carefully.

Yes it can be ambiguous because one will never know if a wave is forming until it has formed and that is why I use only impulse and corrective leg which are component of these waves.

I'm not counting wave but following with trade the development of the wave structure.

Remember that the Elliot wave structure was developed using basic trend structure.

So the only part of Elliot wave structure that I'm using is impulse and correction pattern of the wave structure

could be, but where is neckling also is double top, and if go monthly triple top, end of the day definitely showed resistance @ 1 4232 - 1 4248 thats not much use to anyone now, she been trading east for last 7 months!

Was the month of June the start of a new down trend?

I think so because at the start of 2018 the pair did almost the exact same thing.

So my initial target is 750 pips lower from 1.3827...

i`m looking to sell rallies going forward.

yes she was consolidating eastward past 7 months. she is tired now she wants to GO DOWN now! just my observation. My target is 750pip 1.3077..

Looks like it’s gonna rip toe around this area till tonight. Could be in for a drop to 135/36 or a rise up to 138/39
