Just make sure it's actually what you want. Yeah if you have an audited track record it will definitely impress. Remember you won't be doing any prop trading at Goldman, just getting best execution for clients assuming you're talking about a sales & trading position. That's if you get an interview- it is highly highly competitive. IBD is all excel grind. You'd be expected to work 80-100 hours a week easy but you'd also be started on somewhere close to 100k now. Otherwise smaller prop trading firms might be more interesting if you have a winning strategy and audited track record.

GU is at tempting price to buy, i have placed a small buy at current price and buy limits @ 1.3787 & 1.3777, targeting beyond 1.39

If we get weekly close 1.3850 i will seriously re-consider keeping my longs

Working like a dog is fine since i am a cook and a butcher Well i don't really want to execute clients' positions. That sounds like a broker's job rather than a trader. I want to manage money. So hedge fund is more suitable for me. But i thought Financial Analysts are managing money not brokering? I am confused now.

on Gu monthly chart
June we had bearish pin bar with small wick heavy selling from the uptrend
July bullish pin bar from an uptrend
bullish pin bar that didnt form at top or bottom is a profit taking signal


feb was a bullish bar that ends up with heavy selling..



in a long term i am calling GU down to 1.26 1.20 but we need to revisit 1.40.....
