Thanks Pat, that’s so true. While I like to keep an eye on things and usually biased towards the current trend direction, what actually I trade is something else, John Moulton called it the comet, not looking at the tail but trying to jump on the comet itself.

Then it is as you said, no guarantee - the only thing you can control is your downside. One of my favourite quotes on this is the following:
