Positive stop loss taken out at 1.38930, being greedy kept changing stop loss to lock profits. I do not believe the trailing stop to perfection on my trading app

Edit: Do you guys keeping changing your SL or use trailing stop?

Classic psychological area rejection in play. However if the trend line is showing stronger bullish there will be a bounce back

This is the point that seems to escape the skeptics most strongly:

If anyone post like " Sell 1.23435 SL 1.243567. TP 1.22465, honestly, I just skipped it. Not interested looking for signal, without proper explanation/description on why trade were taken.
I'm looking for knowledge which can grow my skill set exponentially.

People have value in themselves beyond just being objects to get money from or make money off by referring them somewhere.

When I share with other traders, they share with me back and I get the benefit of their analysis, suggestions, corrections, methods, strategies, tools, techniques and experience.

And that is intensely valuable to me because everybody, and I mean everybody from rankest newbie on up, knows things I don't know about trading, trading currencies and a bunch of other things.

When we cooperate and collaborate, we form an awesome amount of brainpower and experience.

Given the virtues of our market, the rewards for coming up with a truly successful methodology -- this one or any other -- are almost too staggering to believe themselves.

So the payoff is fat and I'm willing to work my behind off for it. "Will work for pips"; you bet I will. 17 hours a day if I have to.
Until I don't have to any more and can enjoy the fruit of success to its fullest.

I hope more people post on this thread with their excellent approach and attitude.

Thanks to you and many others sharing valuable info in this thread.

Keep up the good work, I really appreciate your hard work.

I move mine accordingly. Usually moving to b/e once I’m 20-30 pips in the green

Everyone's different but I never used a trailing stop for scalping/intraday

I try now to have TP points in fixed levels (based on SnR, S&D, fib etc) before entry and a contingency plan if none of them are hit, the key for me now is to have these decided pre-entry so emotion isn't involved. Always tended to move stop to BE after 10 pips depending on the setup.. this rule is a bit of a relic of mine though and considering changing it a bit. Everyone's got a different way of trading so there's no right or wrong here, right is just what makes you money, wrong is what loses it

Basically I wont ever set and forget entries as I believe the decision is dynamic but TPs I like to have set and forget as much as possible

I have been using split positions recently and have found using this approach an improvement, but it depends on your system and goals. I usually close trades very quickly so to go from 10 pips trades to catch larger moves is a huge improvement for me but may not be great for someone else. I’m also experimenting with scaling in, to use profits from a trade to buy new positions, but this is fiddly. I made a table to show the advantage of split positions, will make a link to the doc some day when I get round to it. You could open 2 positions and ignore the first column or open more positions.
