actually FOMC is 1800pm (6pm) gmt and football kick-off 1900pm (7pm) gmt. Uk is on bst (british summer time) = gmt+1, which makes these 2 events 7pm and 8pm respectively, in Uk.

But be careful, it has what they call "fat tails".
That means that extreme situations are far more likely than according to that normal distribution.
The chance on a rise/decline of 100 pips (or another big number) in a few hours for FOMC is much greater than in a normal distribution.
