Yea usually I'll have an idea of direction in my head, in this case I thought we may push up a bit higher with no real justification. But if I wasn't in a position already, the pivot would have been a clear short because of trend, confluence of three factors etc, need to work on that mental agility/flexibility. Dly below shows the near-term potential support factors below there with Wkly S1 @/around 3776, Wkly S2 3673 and new Mthly S1 just below @/around 3663.

The attached may help (although I appreciate it's more a psychological issue than anything - as you've described it if I understand you) ...allows you to reverse the position. It's an EA for MT4 that can be attached to any chart...just remember though if you want to put a stop/take profit - it is in ticks ie to the 5th decimal place (most 'retail' brokers go to 5 decimal places now) so for eg a 20pip stop/limit you need to put 200 not 20.

Huge volume on the downward candle - seems to be a genuine move and not a low volume test/trap move. Could be wrong though, as always!

Thanks! Yeah, 100pc psychological though. I'll keep that in mind if I ever go back to using mt4 though, cheers
