This looks like a strong rejection at the zone 1.4230-1.4330 and the bear bar is so big the it’s about to create engulfing pattern. Today is the last day of the month. On the other side the price touches the 8 period Exponential MA and may bounce back up from here. Let’s see how this candle closes tonight. We may have a bearish engulfing pattern tomorrow. In such case the decision would be SELL.

I agree with you. If a trader is finding success in using an indicator, or a particular combination of indicators, then it makes sense to keep going with that strategy. But there are a lot of indicators out there that are not worth the space they take up on a chart.
Learn from your mistakes and march on.

That sounds reasonable.

Price is being rejected at a key area of resistance on the monthly.

I will be looking for a retracement on the Daily. My plan is to buy into the retracement. Then I will use the fib tool to find a short opportunity on this pair for the coming month. Levels that are of most interest to me on a retracement are 15%, 38.2%, and 50%. Note: depending on how the Daily candle closes today, my fib plot may change.

Anyway your plan can be successful. It looks like you want to take advantage of a smaller TF before that monthly engulfing possibly kicks in. It’s doable.
