In Malaysia ( my country) we call this layer cake ( Kuih Lapis). When you stack order in close knit.
One need patience to make the cake and it really nice to eat once completed.
Other country does has the same , but called it different names.

Anyway, do you "surfer" celebrate seafarer day ?
