Thanks for the explanation. I agree to a point, but a consolidation period isn't necessarily a trend reversal. Most experienced traders understand the market targets liquidity at supply/demand areas. So the market doesn't just randomly turn. Even present day EURUSD is still technically in an uptrend in the bigger picture, but there's nothing wrong with selling as it looks to target demand zones down below.

In the meantime, here's my short-term outlook: Forgive the fat looking candles drawn. I see it falling to either tap, partially fill or completely fill the demand zone, and then bouncing back up close to where it opened. I see the 100 EMA (blue line) as a strong support. I'll probably have three buys there, 1/3rd position each at the top, middle and bottom of the box. Then I suspect a strong buying day on Tuesday, possibly up to the top of the channel. By Wednesday I have no clue what will happen, as FOMC will scare me out of the market.

blah blah blah arguments.... if you're making money, you don't have time to waste on that.

Anyway price has found a floor from Friday's drop. Question is now how will the banks cut the market in the London Open?
Could be a buy opportunity there, or it could cut lower and offer up a better one,... or just keep going (not expecting this, but anything is possible)
Trade safe.

...and if you still suck at this, just compare the price action on the 1st to the 4th, with the price action from the 9th until now.

Something to keep in mind is you don't always have to trade the most volatile currencies. There are those that are much less popular and the trend is good, and you can make good money with little pressure.
