I have been on this forum for 12 years, and until this year, I have never had a dispute with any trader other than the 2 that post regularly here.
It is because they show no respect for people and have to make rude and personal comments when they disagree. It is shameful.
The shock of it caused me to reply in kind as well. Not proud of it at all. My apologies to all.
This conduct needs to end or a mass ban needs to happen, like in 2014 on a very popular thread.

I've been watching the two of them arguing for a few weeks now, but didn't want to comment. It's not my fight. I'll only say that Techanalyst brings an enormous wealth of knowledge and value to this thread, and to the forum at large. I won't comment on the other guy except to say I wonder how these red badges are awarded. Seems like FF is just giving them away these days.

Anyone can learn the skill of trading and become extremely successful, but if your character hasn't developed with your skill and have the ear of others. Well, arrogance will begin to show, and an air of superiority will come out and soon the insults. I've seen it hundreds of times and nobody is immune.

This has nothing to do with the current discussion. Still, I suspect that you can't be here forever. FF does not moderate sufficiently. This is downright unfortunate considering how many clever and persistent traders do good work here every day. I mean by that, I don't have the illusion of finding a home here or in the neighboring thread. Let's see how long this can be done.

Agreed, Techanalyst is sharing lots of useful information and he is a valuable member. The other guy started this argument now. I don't know why people are ignoring that fact. Disrespect and attack came from OnlineAddict. Sorry not sorry.

People are free to share their ideas on EURUSD 2.0. They are not free to troll, belittle, bully, or pick fights with other members. Any racist or sexist comments will surely result in a person getting banned from the thread without warning.

I have been attacked when I said I see EU turning bearish around 2200...and it wasn't one attack...it was an insane amount of messages calling me a newbie, troll and I don't know what else...and that EU will go towards 1.25...AND NOW the people who made fun of me are bearish 100 pips lower and act like they were expecting this move all along. I find that an educational approach to sharing is more beneficial to a forum than simply putting up a messy chart with no context and leaving it up to the viewer to figure things out. I have spent a great deal of time and money learning how to trade. Why not freely share that knowledge with others? I do this because I am a caring person. Some people in here are the jealous type, and they hate me. They hate that I know more than they do about trading. They are miserable lowlifes who have nothing of real value to offer in here.

IIRC, you said definitively at the time that we were in a downtrend. I think that's why you were "attacked". Then you shared a chart only showing data up to March 31st as proof, something you haven't explained yet.

Just to be clear, I have nothing against you at all. Even when you misconstrued my words about manipulation in Ata's thread. I think you misunderstood what I was saying, but wouldn't let up. Anyway, all is good.

Disagreements are good, fighting is bad. But it is entertaining to a point. We all know trading is quite boring, so a little entertainment doesn't hurt.

The chart was only to show how a strong downtrend can easily turn into a strong uptrend from one week to another(the continuation of the chart can everyone easily see by just opening a real-time chart)...the chart I posted was showing a strong downtrend into 1700...it was a reaction to people acting like trends need months to change. So saying "EU is bullish", its an easy buy or "EU is bearish" is an easy sell if a very newbie thing to say. A pair can turn from bearish to bullish and vice-versa very fast. When I said EU is an easy sell for me 2200-2250, even though the previous chart was bullish, was just that...I saw all signs of the old trend changing. Just like there were bullish signs between 1700-1750 before, even though the chart looked very bearish.

p.s. The manipulation comment wasn't aimed at a trade of yours...I am just allergic to that word, just as I am allergic to people complaining non-stop and blaming others for every bad decision they make(again, not aimed at you). The word just triggers something in me...lol

My little advice to new/inexperienced traders is to have a trading system and a strategy and follow it.
Go through posts on this forum with a neutral mindset. With time, you'll know posts that should be taken seriously and those that should be ignored completely.
