The whole charade was just unnecessary. I'd respect a professional/commercial trader more showing more intricate analysis than someone claiming to be a noob and posting gain porn all the time.

If you want to just be well liked within the community then treating others with respect goes a long way

GBPUSD's gonna hit 1.4250 sometime next week and I'm certain it's gonna go down right after it hits that price so better put a short entry order now! Thank me later guys

I actually agree with Pipa1's algo. It is closely similar to the Market Profile indicator which measures the collection points of prices based on historical data in given time frames. A very powerful indicator indeed.
The problem is acquiring that formula. I tried in excel using data array/linear regression, but you need actual live data being downloaded continuously (which I don't know what to do).
Personally, I wasn't bothered by Pipa1's attitude at all (whether he's pushy or aggressive) since it is ultimately up to each individual to take his advice or not. His levels were close, but maybe his delivery was too rough for some people.
Most of us here sometimes forget that our main job is to make money through forex price fluctuations. Try to take your emotions out of it. We don't make money by scrutinizing others' posts...which is frankly a waste of time.

While the whole thread became a joke, we finally arrived at the end of the week
The NFP data made the move, pushed the price up and here we have the result

On the Weekly we have almost a Doji, a little bit red, and it is an outside bar. Maybe I can call it Spinning top if I remember the rules wrote by Steve Nison (studied long long time ago).
The signal is a change in the balance, the bulls lose power, the bears increase it. Next week we need to see if this will keep going. The confirmation in the change of the balance is a new low under this week's low (under 1.4080)
A new high is still possible of course (all is possible, remember), but in any case, the uptrend lost power. Next HH, if there will be one, will be waek.

On the Daily we see almost an engulfing, but the signal is not so powerful, as the standard signal should be (also becouse there is not a donwtrend on Daily...). The most important signal that we see is that the bulls were not able to break the yesterday high, and not able to close above yesterday open

On lower TF the price action is clear. Under 1.4130 can be possible a scalp long becouse there we can find new bulls that want to try again the NFP move. The break of that level will invalidate the NFP move. Another possible scalp for long is when we test again the area around 1.40. Other ideas may be dangerous.

My preference is for entry short, but of course, just after a clear entry signal

Really... the account balance started from $40,000 at 7am and by 9pm his account was up to $465,000? Are you kidding me? Do you actually believe this nonsense or are you that delusional? Stop watching this nonsense and get real with trading seriously. No real trader would risk that much, even if they day trade or long term trade. Actually, you don't 'need' to learn how to trade from a 1 minute chart or a 5 minute chart. It is better to stick to the higher time frames in my opinion. If you feel you must use the 1 minute chart or 5 minute chart for trading, then try renko bars. Hutch has an excellent strategy for that.

That does sound unbelievable. And if possible, it would take extreme leverage and great risk to achieve. It's my guess most people would lose their money, as one daily candle could potentially wipe out an account of an overleveraged trader. I will stick to 1%.

Nav I sometimes use a 5 pip renko / 20 ema crossover strategy - however it is garbage in a range but with your experience I’m sure you can figure out how it works and when to avoid it (MACD & RSI can help, otherwise it is pretty much waiting for the colour and slope to change above or below the ema, exiting on the next cross. Split positions help too). That said, I agree it is better to stick to the higher time frames.
