These kind of features are made with one thing in mind - to make traders lose money. No trader with a working brain will voluntarily close part or all of a position when opening a hedge. This approach has a special area of use. I remember 4 years ago i lost 10000$ with a single click jsut because of similar features on IG platform. This doesn't make sense at all and after massive complaints IG changed this feature.

Just going by m5 it looks to be cooking a little pop up in the near term. Anyone seeing that?

[Manage Funds] -> [Add new sub-accaunt] -> Check the field

Thing is on the 4H 142 is not out of the question however with the current trend line what used to be the support areas of 14140 will is looking like new resistance

I understand. Listen why don't you try the approach that i suggested many times? Place a Sell Stop / Buy Stop instead of SL. If the pending hedge gets activated then at least you don't lose the money and then you can work on solving your locked position. This approach changed my life as a trader. If you do this right, you will never lose money again. Believe me. At lest you don't risk anything if you try.

Should have waited for the dip back into the zone but it was clear the bulls would win this mini battle
