...should there be further upside on this or the next 1hr candle it could well meet the confluence of a descending 1hr/4hr t/line, Dly R1, 76.4% 4152-4005 and 50% upside extension of y/day's daily candle - all between 4113-17. Currently, clearly supply leading up to current dly hi (4096) = 61.8% 4152-4005 with 23.6% upside ext of y/day's dly candle.
Intraday (mainly) swing scalper via Supp/Res & Pa etc.

Why didn't you short from top instead of waiting for the breakout? You could have made something you know. That's what i would do though. I'm in on short at 1.408 targeting 1.40 with a pending sel limit at 1.412

Yea there are times I would do that. I probably made more pips when I'd just aggressively scalp up and down inside that wedge type structure. Now I prefer setups that I get in to be as 'guaranteed' as possible, IE high probability. I'd rather wait and be patient rather than have to overtrade and risk making emotional decisions. Also, I dont know for sure it wants to dump, it has been going up all session after all, so I will wait for confirmation before going against the h1 trend. That supply I marked out isn't a 'strong' zone for me either as it hasn't taken out an opposing zone or a TL (just my dumb rules). So it is just a question of trying to follow rules you've set for yourself over time rather than get into the habit of trading with your gut. Also, I made my (small) target for the day so anything else is just a bonus and will not give back pips at this time. If it spikes up more though, forget it i'm out.
...will the 4hr bullish hidden div result in an upside follow thru above 4166,? off that prev dly swing hi zone that has acted as rbs (Hi's @ 4017,4002,4005 and 4009.)
