On the DXY, I think this area will support price, wait and see. Maybe have to wait for the news to find out. Price tends to gravitate towards important TLs before important news.

This is fuelled by excessive low rate.This type of asset is where cheap and government money is parked over the last decade.
The Fed created currency and sent it to the banks ,the idea is the banks lend into the economy .
Only banks sent it to the stock market as the safer option. So in 2020 onwards the government overcome this by sending money direct to people as well.

Yeah it is against my posts. But like i said, i also know that people bought USD hoping that FED will raise interest rates. So Cable didn't went down because inflation is a good thing, interest rates are good and they depend on that rate decision. But they will vanish if FED does not raise the rates. So my point is:

Inflation is bad, interest rate is good. And they bought USD for the interest rate part, because inflation is a bad thing without interest rates.

Inflation itself alone is bad for the currency if there's no interest rate increase backing it. That's my point.

Here's my formula when i look at those datas

(Core inflation + growth rate - interest rate = total) (lower the "total" section, stronger the currency)

I think i am going to pass on this set up today, just something in the chart is not sitting right and the long side may well only be a retest of 4100 support broken on the way down on the hourly and we might see some short action after that , so my rule is if i can not be 100% confident in the trade stay away as there are other currencies that might have a clearer set up.

unusual looking but cad may have printed inverted H&S right shoulder 2130 - 2136??? usd may be gaining traction, also odd cable been struggling to rally while many us prs flopping?? "if" usd is gaining cable should drop maybe stirling and usd faltered at same tine???

Surprisingly for a Friday we have a tight range day. My short from 14050 still open however will manually close if there if we hit 14110

oh am looking at TP around 140 to then go long towards 141.

Yes, this is the way to go man. Keep vacuuming up the pips. Then you can be done and dusted in time for the news, just leaving a runner with SL at breakeven. If you're wrong then fine you already made your daily target with high probability scalps. Some people say you have to wait for a breakout but I like these kinds of conditions with price just bouncing around S&D zones

perhaps worthy of mention geppy is struggling with UTL of rising channel (daily) if it holds could support stirling weakness!!!!!
