I'd love to short it here but doesn't fulfil my criteria for a strong scalp trade... Freitag so don't want to enter unless i'm sure

Cable is not moving up despite dxy crashing, this implies to me that cable is being held down at these levels.

Still, I think very good RR, Tight SL and could aim for 1.40 still, IMO.

Edit-my hesitation cost me pips

In a normal situation, if the stock market goes down, the bond market goes up....so lower rates....

'payments' is right -as opposed to- 'repayments, because as we know they like us and many others (in fact most) don't actually repay debt, it just gets rolled over on maturity, and in the meantime serviced by interest payments. Pre so-called 'MMT' and inherent to MMT is the belief that as long as increased debt leads to increased GDP and by extension increased govt income then growing debt can continue to be serviced by growing govt income at the same/similar proportion of it. It's a shitshow that won't end well, that much is clear.

Where do you see it going Mr H ?

Too uncertain no positions for me just my AM scalp. If it breaks above 1.4080 then i'm not feeling the short. Bias is short whilst those highs today remain intact.

Well, I like you and everyone else have no idea. Technicals are somewhat unclear on the 'significant' t/f's...There has been an upside break of the 1hr triangle/pennant earlier suggesting more upside but thur's hi remains intact (for now.) Conversely the only real uptrend is the weekly uptrend (per fractal analysis) although daily has shown recent signs of strength off the weekly pullback lo of 3669 (no HH yet on that t/f though.)

Considering the fact that Daily is printed with strong bearish formation along with analytical judgement to some of key fundamentals i would be Bearish and i expect some of the possibilities will become reality as per the given chart.
