Yeah, you're probably right. I am overthinking the situation at the moment. I do believe we will break 1.40 soon just unsure of the timing. There are just some bullish fingerprints on the LTF chart.

You know what: On Wednesday, the US government reported that consumer prices for goods and services surged 0.8% in April - the largest monthly jump in more than a decade - and that year-over-year inflation reached its fastest rate since 2008.
Looks like we are going to have couple of amazing weeks on the market.

Yes, precisely. This is HUGE. I don't believe this is just a temporary bounce on the dollar hence keeping my overall short bias on GU.

The thing that might cock this up is if a double bottom is formed on this hour timeframe. Might be worth seeing how the 4 hr completes

...some consolidation going on between the current dly lo and current p/back hi...1hr just closed bullish engulf of last two candles on that t/f - it's hi @ the prev 30min sw hi zone =prev res=pot res. (Pink zone on chart below.) 1hr below.
