Yep, I fully agree. These days Aussi is been a very good buying option against USD...

And they also have a very underestimated football league... as I read on another comment!

Back in on the short side and i'll make this the last one of the day, hope to get enough of a drop to get my stop in at BE and let FOMC work their magic. It's a coin toss but the dxy TL retest seems to be complete, and this is a decent enough GU level which we seem to be double topping on. Short at 1.3915.

The major spanner in the works is the ABCD i talked about at the start of the week is still valid and projects up to I think 1.4070-80. So a pump up for FOMC would not shock me. That would be some nice fuel for the real move down

Stop in at BE now

Note Gilt yields had a massive run up today, this should comfort cable bulls

For sure, i'm out already and no desire to get back in on a gutshot. Let it play out and observe, or better still switch it off and go do something else!

Again I'd kind of written this pattern off but if FOMC does make a reach up then the ABCD projects up to around 1.4080, would make for a nice short if it does happen

You may be right, but I think it's critical area for me, I'll be spectator again for until I can see a valid set up.

I like to be a spectator and just sit here in the stands watching the people going big , huge or swing trade,.

Just depends what they say, I don't think any chat about tapering yet

The dollar trendline is interesting to keep an eye on, it plays a role on these event days quite a lot (whether it be a bounce or retest to mark the change of direction after a spike), so that may have been the final spike up and just down from here. I'm usually ready for that spike, even had a long on GU but cashed out too early
