This channel should play significant role for GBP USD this week. My bet is LL today and LL on Wednesday after FOMC taking the pair to around 1.3750 анд поссиблъ ловер. Just my view (projection atm). Breaking out of the channel, going north will ruin my sand castle, but I’ve got stop in place.

Correction- Typo: to around 1.3750 and possibly lower

There have been many tests of the 88.80% retracement level over last 10 weeks, including last week.
All of them have seen rejection and there is twice as many upper wicks to lower wicks.
The last month, testing the 78.60% level and subsequent retest of the upper level, has been on below average volume (coded yellow) which makes me think the big players consider this a 'fair price zone' and may be content to trade here until some major news gives them a reason to bring it down, which will probably be the Scottish election on 6th May as the SNP are almost certain to win and that would mean Scottish indepence will likely happen.
I imagine there are a lot of stops beyond 1.4000 so expecting to see a big stop hunt before the price finally drops.
Of course, I could be totally wrong.

sometime simplicity is the best
price open below weekly and daily pivot line , rejacketed from then at lo . and broke rising trendline
as long as the price is below daily open line , daily and weekly pivot , target is adr low 1.38220

So what's going on with GU? I see DXY appeared to breakout this morning but, as it's a HTF TL its hard to say if its a fakeout or just coming in for a retest. We'll know pretty soon. As the GBP side is strong, any USD weakness would send GU flying I think, as they were both strong earlier it was dancing all over.

And this is the problem with trendlines, is it breaking, is it faking, etc. It kind of has to be combined with other factors
