Disliked{quote} It rarely works out as simply as you make out imo. Another scenario might have been, for example, a fakey on LO at 8am only for a vicious breakout in the Frankfurt direction. What do you do then if your 8-9 range is 60+ pips, still just trade in the direction of the range breakout? What about SL/TP? I get what you're saying but you kind of have to read the situation as it arises. I do have a set of rules for trading this time of day but it really just comes down to identifying levels and price action, I struggle to see how you can write...Ignored
Disliked{quote} You’re right in what you say and there isn’t a set rule as such IMO. The LO breakout is the key for the day, in a way where you get the orders from last night, Asia filled in. That gives you the volume. The principle of the hot potato between the exchanges is valid and that’s what you need to watch IMO. As I said earlier in a nutshell, the structure of the day is simple: Frankie fakes it, London proves it wrong 80-90 % of the time and NY fills in the remaining of the range… if you follow this scenario, you are almost guaranteed to catch...Ignored
