Looking for 1.3775-1.3800 for the bulls now, next week. I ignored the sell signal on 1.3895 and could have closed my buy and reversed hoooo well. Back to babypips for me

Hi ricmaj,

Just scalping on Friday

Quick in and Out for small and tiny profit.

Been watching Friday myth for a while and found it only is right half the time.

It has never really figured into my trading but I've always had an eye on the Thursday high or low depending on the trend for the week as a good spot for a position.

Friday wasn't easy and overall dangerous for trading.

I had some pips on the way up saw it turn and got out... it moved so fast... before i could even get short it was like gone already

Looking for further strenght at support in the pound for a real move up possibly.

Anyway Fridays sure can be screwy.

It is sound advice- I did the exact opposite this week and paid the price! The market gives you clues all the time on what its about to do, whether you choose to act or follow your hopes and expectations is up to you!

I made several mistakes in the past few days. I realize that the root reason is "I traded what I think,not what I see"! I have changed my mindset and focus on what I see now. Expectation and prediction are useful tool, but should not dominate your decision!

When I change my mindset, I change the result! In the past 24 hours I have won about 80 pips!

Very good, congratulations! I experienced exactly the same thing. It actually wasn't a difficult market to profit in this week, looking back, but if you're bringing a bunch of preconceptions it can flip that. Infact, there were quite a few gifts on the table if you chose to take them

It's a constant battle-sometimes feels like you're fighting against yourself, it's not as easy as flicking a switch. Bad habits can easily slide back.

I'm exactly the same, no system just apply some basic principles and (hopefully) trade what I see. I do go in with pre-defined risk but rarely a TP. I could not set limit orders easily with this approach, always at market.
