Im thinking the present hourly candle is BS last hourly was inside bar, this one is BS to take out bear sl,s Im thinking it will almost completely fadse before it closes in 22 min,S

I am short 1.3805, it seem 1.3810 is a hard nut to crack and it has made D- top on hr candle. TP to be 1.3730 SL 1.3815

Stop to BE and similar profit targets in mind closer to 1.37. Not going to try shorting again if this returns up to 1.38 today.

I need dollar to find support in this demand area but Treasuries are rallying putting some downward pressure on today. The pinbars and bull divergence makes me think it will hold

its been a real weird week. no real sign or strength. I made profit on Monday but now aside from a small loss on my last trade mainly due to not having any direction im still non the wiser.

I have equally-weighted GBP and USD indices. Their values are designed as:
gbpind = ((gbpusd + gbpcad + gbpaud + gbpnzd + gbpchf) * 100 + 100 / eurgbp + gbpjpy) / 7;
usdind = (usdjpy + (usdcad + usdchf) * 100 + (1 / eurusd + 1 / gbpusd+ 1 / audusd + 1 / nzdusd) * 100) / 7;

The following is 60 seconds(1 minute) GBP and USD trend. GBP trend is down, just opposite to GU trend!
I believe that GU will go down today! I sell GU at 1.3801

Yeah, honestly I've not been paying much attention the past couple of weeks been dipping in and out, had lots of other distractions. Hopefully back at it with more focus here on out. Today is quite tricky on GU. I think it's inclined to fall but seeing a lot of dollar weakness so it's just being held up by that. Any turnaround in the dollar and we should see some sharp falls down to 1.37. We'll see though, the daily chart is pretty messy and the 4h chart is pure chop.

The last month mid march to mid april were pretty clearly defined in terms of up and down movement on the daily. This week it's been a reluctant grind up. 1.38 is a clear structural level I think this will hold us down.

If you draw a fib from the low of the 13th to the high on the 14th it gives you some good levels to watch.

Yes - hoping the US open will give a bit more of a sense of direction. Only a 32 pip move since the UK open this morning and volumes are low.
I have positions open from the UK open this morning and also still open from yesterdays US session. The positions hedge each other, so not too worried - I know what I'm in for!

All the naked trading strategies have 3 parts

1. ID S&R zones. I always busy marking these zones and revising then periodically.

2. Wait for the market to reach one of these zones

3. Take a trade once a 'catalyst is printed'

Catalysts are powerful price patterns.
They suggest what a market ‘may’ do once price reaches a zone
Catalysts outside a zone, are just ‘interesting price formations’, but NOT high probability trade setups
A powerful and simple catalyst is the ‘last-kiss’ trade


Markets have two moods

Calm, drifting, directionless, choppy ( we're in this state now)
Strong, powerful, exploding trends


The market continually moves between those two states

Most systems perform well in one or the other type of market, but never in both types

Certain naked trading patterns perform well in one market type, but not both

The S&R zone will mark the ‘line in the sand’ for the naked trading version of the breakout trade - the last-kiss trade


This is what my planning with the BOX session.

Identify the consolidation zone by drawing a box around the choppy/directionless area

This box is formed by a Support and Resistance zone

Once price breaks out of the box, the last-kiss trader ‘takes notice’

However they don’t enter yet, because breakout trades tend to suffer from the dreaded ‘fake-out’

A fake-out occurs when price leaves the box and then comes back in
