Dollar positive news turns out to be dollar negative, go figure. My theory might be a dud if we dont drop now. DXY at my support line and there's some demand right below so we'll see if this is a fakeout/shakeout. It pretty much needs to turn around here.

If one does not have a range strat for these moments, one would wait.

For intraday, sometimes just waiting for volatility to go down for an hour or two and grow back up steadily in one direction and on the very edge and over the range.

Just as often, volatility itself will take it clearly out of the range, but it is harder to get in good in these situations, it could just be the ranging growing...

Probability are slightly higher when going in with longerterm trend also, but not high enough for intraday.


buy stop @ 3734 for mostly a range trade, half will stay in at mid range, where we have just ventured. To be revised in an hour.

1st partial TP will be for 7 pips.

2nd is 3750, then 55, SL at BE at 55 for the last position. still going for 1.4
