I mean, i can remember all sorts of Scenarios around NFP,
as i'm sure you do my friend. I remember there was some of the following:
_ Shut everything down BEFORE 8am EST, -Just Close everything.
_ Then it was the News Svc's Wires that you pay for to get the
news in Milliseconds. _ Then the Robots Set up for it and 'argument
for or against them & people blaming them.
_ Then People would discuss the "Art of the Straddle" and i clearly remember one guy,
Who was on "Live," Saying "Uh-Oh" & Literally Blowing up The Account trading "The Straddle"
& Then they promptly removed his Trading Show that Friday. 'Next Monday it was a new host...
_ Then there was, "Give it 5 min's after the Spike," Then the Big-Players,
Will Certainly Step-In & Push the Spike Hard one way or the Reverse.

_ People Had Daily, Weekly & even Monthly Pivots Out- READY to React to
Whatever the News was.
I'm sure alot of this still happens, but i believe people have ran over to Crypto,
and such & maybe that's just the new game in town, getting all the attention.
I don't know. But your bottom line is right. I used to remember it would roll 150-200 Pips,
on a good or Brutal News Cycle. Good post, and memories bringing this up.

For their Trade or Bad Trade and you thought that was it & there was "Slippage".
At the time i had my Broker Refund me like $4-5K on a trade. Due to Servers crashing, etc.

Yes the arrows repaint but this is no problem unless you don't know how to trade with indicators. I rarely trade GBPUSD but I follow that pair as it's a proxy for the FTSE. Trading a few hours a day is enough for me I'm not glued to charts. However, I took 1 trade today and yesterday morning. I can't wait to see your GBPUSD trades of today and yesterday.

Now seeing a falling wedge on 5m chart forming on 1h demand and rising wedge on dxy..

Snuck in a long at 1.37981 at the bottom of the wedge, stop to BE already. Treasuries reacted at psych level 1.6

edit- Out +28

Will re-enter if it retests

Re-enter long at 1.3807, stop to BE asap
