Clarification on still holding short position.

In previous post, I wanted to close the short trade.

But instead, I let it run coz looking at STRONG Momentum bear candle, GU will not stop falling.

Add another position with stop on the H1 upper wicks.

I will let this trade run to target. If it return , too bad , will only win part of it.

Here's my chart H4 and H1.

Sorry about the change of heart to keep the trade instead closing it earlier as mentioned.

Sometimes Newbie can get greedy too.

Regret for any inconvenience and not trying to confuse anyone here.

And this is how it goes, I have no indication of buy trades yet. Thanks to DailyChart I did not post my short stack entries. I believe he is long. Nevertheless, the daily chart speaks volumes. All trades locked in and price must do what it has to.

Move to Positive Stop on both trade.

Now, I will let it dive to target or it will stopped the trade.

He has blown account after account with the exact same "strategy" he uses of using full margin positions then adding to it as it goes into profit... something along those lines...

yes but at great cost, biggest bestest lessons was trade higher tf,s trade less, some traders doing my old bad habits, over trading, no sl, poor r/r, adding to loser trades, praying market will please come back and save me, might happen but generally / eventually it wont, account gone, make my eyeballs bleed sometimes

Moty's problem is his very first trade. If he enters with 0.01 instead, as he rarely nails the top/bottom, and then, slowly builds up, lets say these last buys, he is sucking now? If he bought one at a time at each h1 upper breakout? He would have exited before the flip... Instead he opens a heavy margin first trade. Then adds small 0.01s or so. But misses to buy near or close the bottoms. Plus, why buying when the rate moves South, doing only sell breakouts?

If h1 is too little, he can do m15 or even m5 upper breakouts only. His buy avg price would have been dramatically better than what it is now...

Change comes from the bottom up. If you are watching H4 and H1, then you should consult M15 for a reason to exit the short positions.

Moty's money management kills himself.. even though he is in a right direction, some volatility can kill him easily.
When I touch trading at the beginning, I also did not notice the margin protection and wipe out the account. However, I think Moty trade quite a long time and I did not expect he is keep doing this day after day.

Wise words! Great traders aren't born, they're made!

So treasury yields look to have rebased themselves at 154bps ish and dont seem to be going anywhere. I think you could do some damage (in a good way) by waiting for a fib retrace of this impulse down and going short. My judgement is telling me not to enter anything tonight though I know how this goes after a decent day, the market punishes greedy people.

Haha I love how you all talk about him as if he's not in the room. IMO Moty has very good discretionary/price action trading skills, you'll struggle to find anyone on FF who can analyse so many markets so quickly as well as making trading decisions and posting charts
