Would love to be loaded up short here but i'm fully margined on short Euro, good luck everyone. I do notice a gilt sell off so i'd maybe wait a bit

IG were supposed to give me a professional account this week but they seem to be ignoring all customer service So hopefully less margin requirements soon

Seems to be resistance above 13970 area. Keeps bouncing off it. Asian session was surprisingly slow last night too. Maybe this is all a lead up to the budget.

Yea supply created here on the 1st of March, bears will be defending this spot

Should be a reasonably clear run up for the dollar now

G/M, annual Uk Budget day, circa 12.30-12.45pm start gmt. Slight upside follow thru so far off y/day's daily hammer (esq) candle. Pullback from 3976 in Asian session to the prev 1hr sw hi x 2 zone=prev res = pot rbs (dark blue on 1hr below,) before the rise to the 4hr part of the prev 1hr/4hr sw hi zone=prev res=pot res to 3999 and another pullback before support encountered. 1hr below, 4hr below that.

Just thinking, the furlough scheme was extended until September so this is what's causing the gilt sell off. Will wait for this to level off before selling.

price reject from previuse close m5 high, my ex was to go deeper to beggining this strong impulse, miss my pending for 5 pip...my stop was 3 pip

For some further information, I kept my long positions and added another small one at 1.39700. Watching PA at the candle close, it closed above the upper edge of the descending flag pattern and above the EMA10 so I let it play out. I thought this re-trace down to the flag pattern would occur after touching 1.39950, where I had a pending sell order. I have now cancelled this with the view it will likely continue to 1.40500ish.

Again, I could be wrong (it happens often) but I wanted to be transparent with my trade.

...that prev 1hr/4hr sw hi zone =prev res=pot res to 3999 is part of that prev 4hr sw lo zone =prev supp=pot sbr to 4012
