No, nothing has changed with my Forex trading methods. I use two totally different methods to trade the Forex and stocks.

I am showing the stock info because I have people here sending me private messages asking me about it, and since I can't send images in private messages, I have to post it here.

Thanks for the reply robinhood. That is where I am having trouble right now I wait for a trend or cross over change with the same rules applied for the daily then I go on the four hours for the continuation and cross over trades based on the daily cross over or trend. I am having trouble using simply using cross-over trade in general without relying a lot on the daily to form a cross-over or having all indicators align on the daily first before going on the four hours. So far everything is fine.

I am currently trading stocks instead of the Forex because it's so much easier to trade stocks profitably right now (at least in my opinion). You can take what I posted on Page 1 of this thread and use it to trade stocks.

1. Look at it first on a Weekly chart (using as many of our indicators as you can), and if that looks good, then trade it on a Daily chart when you get an entry signal.

A. My stock account is at Interactive Brokers due to low rates (I have been using them for many years and I don't want to switch brokers at this point).

B. I use TC2000.com for charting. They also have a brokerage which allows you to trade stocks directly on the screen like we do on MT4.

2. I DON'T DAY TRADE STOCKS!!!

3. I DON'T SELL STOCKS SHORT!!!

4. I DON'T INITIATE TRADES IN STOCKS TRADING ABOVE $5/SHARE - It's often hard for a $50-$100 stock to double fast, but it's often not that hard for a $1-$2 stock to double quickly.

Dear RH,
with pandemic lock-downs around the world, billions of $ of dumb money have entered the markets. Isn't that the reason that trading stocks is so much easier now because experienced traders are beating up rookie traders in the market? I am asking this because you mentioned trading Forex is hard. yes it is. of course. because in Forex we are trading against Federal Reserve and BOE and many other giants. but these days I can see great positions in pairs according to your method. so I was surprised to hear from you that you have rejected Forex in favor of the stock market! I do respect your decision but I thought maybe some more detailed explanation about this could be helpful.

In my opinion, I am not beating up rookie traders (or even trying to) by using my vast trading experience. I am not competing with them, nor do I care whether they win or lose. To be honest, I never even think about other traders when I'm trading stocks. All I care about is what and how I'm doing.

When I trade stocks, I am always just "floating down the river" by ALWAYS going with a strong flowing current. Meaning, as I explained a few weeks back in this thread, I let other traders effectively show me where a strong flowing river is, and then I just jump on board. When the strong flow stops, or even slows down enough, I jump out and wait for the strong flow to increase and I get back in again, and if it doesn't, I just go find another river that does have a strong flowing current and I jump in that.

Certainly I could do the same thing with the Forex, I just choose not to right now. When the stock market goes into a bear market, I may switch back to the Forex, but that's unlikely because the types of stocks I trade don't generally care what the broader market is doing. What the Dow, the NASDAQ, or the S&P are doing on any given day never even gets one iota of my attention because they are totally irrelevant to what I am doing.

Let me show you another advantage of stocks vs. the Forex.

You could have bought Apple 17 years ago and stayed long the whole time, and made a TON of money doing it. You can't realistically do that in the Forex.

Lastly, it is generally believed that 90-95% of all Forex traders lose. So if trading the Forex is not working out for someone, then don't you think that they should try trading something else like the stock market? And to do that, for starters, traders here should piece together the rules and suggestions that I've made in this thread regarding stocks. And also read the books I've mentioned.

Has anyone found the best way to exit a position? I am doing great and seeing an average return of 20-40 percent per WEEK which is IMO amazing!!. I now ran into another problem of exiting a position. I often find myself in tons of profit and continuously move my stop loss behind 2 candles on the highest or lowest candle for trailing stop loss. I find that some of my position end up reversing and hitting my trailing stop. I was thinking maybe I should enter on the four hours and use the four hours for stop-loss then move down to the 1 hour for training when I am in huge profit any successful traders got any good idea on how to trail this system better? thanks!! Also, I want to add that thanks to swingman indicator I am now able to clean out any bad continuation trades, for example, gbpusd had a continuation up on four hours that aligns well with the daily up trend. However, smTMMS only had a blue dot with no green bar pointing up that indicates a strong move up and could have helped me avoid a loss that I am rocking a more confident method.

Hi. I've been happily using this indicator for the past 2 weeks. it's a great improvement to RSI and it's providing more useful crossing signals(changing colors and crossing slow line).
BUT i just see it's a "Repainting" indicator.
The market is very volatile now and the historical lines are changing their past positions and are moving. I'm so sad!
The repainting factor makes this indicator much less reliable if not useless at all!
Is there a way you ask a coder fella to remove the repainting factor out of this Indicator?!

Usually, if an indicator repaints, then that's just the way it is because almost anyone who writes trading code would not want the indicator repaint if they could code it so that it doesn't.

Personally, I never use an indicator that repaints because it isn't telling you the truth, so you can't believe it.

I have heard other traders on FF say that they still use them even if they repaint. So to each his own.

I use it for end of day entry where the price doesnt move as often and indicators tend to be stable. Usually indicators will update so long the current price is updating. HMA for example.

Never find it to be repainting after using it for years the way I use it. None of mrtools/mladen's work is repainting anyway.

Yes. You're right. but the idea behind this "QQE of RSI" indicator is very helpful in trading.

I've been using your method since August 2019;I've spent hundreds of hours looking at live charts and I know well how the RSI and Stochastics move in the markets and how RSI crossing the 50 line is a highly powerful signal (Thanks to you).

BUT by using this QQE indicator we shouldn't just wait for the RSI to cross the 50 line.
It provides more reliable cross signals and color changes signals that hint at a direction change in the markets. and it does it way before the RSI crosses its 50 line.
In my humble opinion this "QQE of RSI" can add a lot to your trading method. please take a look at these pictures and notice their explanations:
I believe an experienced coder like @SwingMan is able to rewrite its source code to avoid color changing. So it will be 100% reliable. since it is RSI.
Could you please ask @SwingMan to take a look at this indicator. he has kindly done this before with "smTMMS oscillator".

1. Personally, I see too many times where the "QQE of RSI" indicator is red when the market is going up and vice versa, but then sometimes it's perfectly brilliant. I think that anything a trader can use to help improve HIS/HER trading should use it. I appreciate your contributions with the "QQE of RSI" indicator and I am happy that it is working for you.

1. Rh this is one example of how should I exit. If I exit using 2 indicators color change i could lose quite a bit of potential profits and this happens quite often

2. My second observation on entering trades using a more precise method the one-hour chart. I understand the 4 hour seems more popular but I have been backtesting to get better and better ratios of trades. So far I am looking at the daily for an already crossed over and all the indicators on the daily to establish a trend. I enter on the 4 hour either cross-over or continuation trades based on the daily trend. However, I plan on getting a more precise entry. After some backtesting, I notice that if on the four hours did a cross over or on the continuation trade I could look on the one hour chart to enter and get a better stop loss and entry and I have also notice that I can actually ignore the daily trend and ride the 1-hour base off the 4-hour trend instead of the daily trend. So what I am saying is that instead of relying on the daily to finish crossing over or making a continuation trade for me to look on the 4-hour trades either a continuation or cross over I play on just purely looking at the 4 hours as the trend change using all seven indicators pointing in one direction on the 4 hours to place an entry trade on the one hour and that would probably help me find more refined entry and more trading opportunity. RH please give me your opinion on this one

I think that if entering that way is giving you better results, then that is what you should do.

The way I do it is...for example...if I am trading a 4hr chart...

I look to the Daily chart to confirm the direction is the same as the 4hr chart, and if it is, I then drop down to the 5 min chart and enter when I get the right entry signal.

OR

The way I do it is...for example...if I am trading a Daily chart...

I look to the Weekly chart to confirm the direction is the same as the Daily chart, and if it is, I then drop down to the 15 min chart and enter when I get the right entry signal.

The point I am trying to make is...the simple concept of how I enter, and that you can basically use it on any time frame, if you have the correct data.

On another note, once you have watched charts for thousands of hours, over many years, it starts to get boring, at least it has for me.

4hr charts are fun to trade, but at what cost to your sleep? What I find is the EASIEST way to trade, and the least stressful, and the most profitable, is to trade Daily charts (or even Weekly charts). It's easy to do, just put on much smaller positions so that you can use the much larger stops that are required.

Alright so look for one higher time frame for trend confirmation with all the indicators in the right direction and then drop down one more time frame for confirmation but then drop to either the 5 minutes or 15 for entry. Could you show me how you would enter the 5 or 15 minutes because from experience when I used to trade down there on naked charts it has a ton of fake outs
