The EUR/USD is more widely traded and its chart patterns are distorted because of this. Its predictability is lower compared to the pairs it moves with. I'd say its even antagonistic compared to its correlated pairs. Compared with the EUR/USD, I tend to look at the GBP/USD to see the clarity of chart patterns. I would agree with you that the EUR/USD moves slower though.

gold , i switched to short to 1792
it is possible to get a reversal in the dx today

In short when we broke out of that little triangle on the 5m, 1.4167. Kind of an M pattern forming. Will get my stop to BE ASAP.

Yes true. I am finding the learnings and see how it goes.
But what I cannot imagine a spike going like 100 pips in 15 mins. It's hard to learn from that at the moment?
I had enough risk to cover my 30ks for the night to pass by during the Asian session and then take it up in the morning.
