I’m just interested to see what gbp retails sales are on Friday. Complete lockdown. Only online retail and essential (food, pharmacists) open. Yet the figures haven’t changed much. Shouldn’t these be -50% or some massive figure. Not the 0.3% of the last one.

Let's see what happens during the Asian session. Though price is trying to form an evening star candlestick pattern on the D1 chart.... Only the close of this NY session will tell.... Cheers .

Hi All,

I'm new here and I'm hoping I could get some advice.

I pretty much exclusively trade GBP/USD and I had an extremely profitable January, however, it all seemed to fade for me in February.

My setup is pretty much as follows:

BB Bands with a period of 13 and deviation of 2
EMA: 200
EMA: 100
EMA: 30 (for 5/15m)
I use a Stoch set at 34,6,2 for 5 to 15

I usually let the chart and candles, and DXY guide me but I feel like I've lost my way slightly.

Is there a whole lot more I should be looking at? Stocks, FTSE, etc. Obviously, I pay attention to the news. I don't use Fibonacci as much as I should, really. I believe it's a case of me making bad trades at the wrong time and trying to counter trade when I shouldn't.

Is there anything you guys can impart that I should definitely take into consideration on a daily basis or even on my charts that I don't currently have?

Appreciate any replies and green pips to you all
