I agree about possible 1.40, the supply on Weekly is there, but I also see that buyers are fighting with the 1.37 area for a month now (maybe the monetary policy next week?)
Let's see reaction at 1.38 than...

...A bullish day just closed (on gmt+2 daily candles) and a range of 116pips which is still sub 30day adr if only just. Last 8 trading days have seen price trapped in a pip range of 150, ie 3759-3609.

1hr and 4hr remain rangy, now with a bullish bias, and the dly/wkly general fractal uptrends are still in place.

The prev 1hr/4hr/dly swing hi zone = prev res = pot res, to 3759 remains the 1st upside obstacle to price right now and in fact price touched the bottom of the 4hr/dly part of it at today's 3746 hi. This zone is co-existant with that prev wkly/mthly sw lo zone = prev supp = pot sbr that started @ 3711 and likely extends to 3790 on the wkly. Dly R1 & Wkly R1 in there @ 3770/3775 respectively and then the 138.2% extension of the last mthly sw hi to ,lo, 3482-2675 is @ 3790.

20/50/100 ema crosses are currently as below.

gold is nothing special, she has been trading east since jan 8th after the big dump jan 6th last night with crap us data, was flight to safety gold, now data has been digested back to ranging, was "normal" pa for circumstances albeit exciting 4hrs both buyer and seller,

now she is back to where she was it is last day of the month, albeit spinning top, October was bear inside bar which produced the November dump candle, December was bull inside bar, (reversal) which produced thus far this months pump candle, however lower timeframes she is counter bull trend with a bearish pull back right now higher tf,s Im comfortable where she may be heading, lower tf,s daily and under I am sticking with bearish pull back:-)

cad hrly todays open candle is bullish inside bar, waiting for the pop above this hr confirmation candle??
