3hr is not a t/f that many look at so in a sense it is irrelevant re potential supp/res...you would be better to look at t/f's that a lot of the market watch - ie 1hr, 4hr, daily etc..

I can promise you 'it' didn't, it was almost certainly other factors that may or may not be known to us via our charts but the fact that 3hr ma was there and price pulled back was not caused by 'it' being there - ie sufficient traders watching the 3hr chart to react with sufficient buying volume to cause the market to pull back.
