That idea is great only when is trending while on ranging markets can be a disaster.
I developed something similar where range it's still a problem.

Thank you for your reply I have decided to re-evaluate what I have been doing unsuccefully for years. I have been trying to build a system for all tf's and pairs. I'll now concentrate on one or two instruments probably gold and something else where trends are more regular.
Also the tag line is what I used to tell my salesmen I when qualifying sales opps. You never know what you don't know, so ask open questions.
I see you may be departing, thank you for visiting and good health and wealth in the future.

Gold is wise, i'm heavy in gold, more so that forex. six figures. the physical stuff tho.
gold is worth something, if the shit really hits the fan you still have gold - wheras if you save currency you have a handful of paper. think about that.

Why should anyone answer anybody else's questions. They may think they have the right to ask but everyone has the right not to answer.

Just finished reading through the ebook. The one thing I get from it is "drawdown". It seems that regardless of where the price was going the drawdown was just an accepted cost of trading. Although it was mentioned that "Grail" was a trend following system I didn't see any recognition or trading stopped when the trend reversed or wasn't there. I have had a 2nd look but not seen anything. I'm always to quick with my stops, I hate losing. I have learnt quite a lot from this so thank you again.
