If you are tracking the GBPUSD this week, consider this technical perspective. GBPUSD market operation remains technically bullish but choppy. On the daily tie frame, there has been a choppy market operation for quite a while as it grinds northwards within a rising wedge (blue). Besides, price action is near the 1.37700 horizontal resistance area (red) and is tackling the wedge resistance trendline. Technically, a bearish turnaround may be in the offing.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

The current first real 1hr+ upside obstacle is that prev 1hr/4hr swing hi zone = prev res = pot (potential) res, likely 3667-3686, thru which runs 50% 5930-1411 @ 3676 and Dly R1 @ 3669. After that to the immediate upside:

3701 127.2% fib extension of the last monthly swing hi-lo ie 3482-2675

3711-likely 3785 a prev dly/wkly/mthly sw lo zone = prev supp = pot sbr, in which there is:

3712=23.6% 2.1162-1411
3713 Dly R2
3742 = 78.6% 4376-1411
3756 Wkly R1

3790 138.2 fib extension of the last monthly swing hi-lo ie 3482-2675

Morning all, short still in play, thought we may have seen a gap of sorts!!!! but nothing substantial, not relevant but EJ long carried too, nothing there to talk of, good trading for 2021 all, D

Got nothing above other than 373xx, Spike Lee may be involved, as previously stated, JB may know better, this could be the spike before any retrace, any thoughts?
