Because that was about 16 weeks ago you're referring to me ,it fell 800 in 2 weeks which I forecast at the time and then took about 14 weeks to go back.

It made the doji which I said I don't believe because of the harsh fall ,to be bullish it needs confirm see open .It opened bullish and confirmed.
I then said I just can't see bears.I posted a chart 'wick 123 up' like before at the start of Dec with a Q mark over if thats a tl or not.
Around 14 weeks ago I posted it would go to major support during and after September monthly.
I'm clearly talking about Brexit ,on those that were wrong,
which I said would be a thin deal and would happen right up the last minute. I didn't believe thats a market mover ,the market mover is the COVID aftermath.Thats weeks ago.
Which Ive reaffirmed in my last post.
No deal on goods would hurt EU more than the UK on very simple economics ,but initially would be highly disruptive uk side.

It's mostly $ failure that brought us to this point.

I can only make assumptions on what you post.

Last time it was the opposite, but I don't understand economics.

It's not big science, just follow relevant news providers, and you will get the idea..
Some news are priced some are not, last 3-4 weeks market was driven by fundamentals - brexit, covid, vaccine, stimulus etc..
There are plenty of good fundamentalists on this forum if you don't understand something just ask.

Curious about the gaps!

Not an expert, but in my experience market will usually travel on the opposite of where it will go the rest of the year. This may seem like a trend for the first few days, but eventually the prevalent direction will resume.
My advice, stick with smaller TF in January, take profits quickly.

What I Think

Is that Gbpusd could fall initially at the Start of Week....May go down to 1.34700 low 1.33140 lowest But It Will Still Be A Buy.

So I will hold the Buys Until such move maybe below 1.33140 negates it

For any traders just learning forex, follow this guy as he is a great teacher of how to understand forex trading and become a profitable trader. Here he breaks down GBPUSD currently.

December's monthly candle close and last week's weekly candle close in particular, suggest a further move to the upside - at some stage is a likely scenario. Ie both were bullish closes near to their highs and both t/f's are exhibiting recent strength/ a general fractal uptrend respectively, with the monthly breaking out to the upside of the multi year descending trend line.

The case for a further downside move in the immediate near term is that 1st b/o's are usually false (ie the monthly candle b/o of the multi year descending t/line, and on the 1hr t/f there have been 2 attempts to get past the current 3686 trend hi that have been repelled by sellers.

Perhaps then a very likely scenario may be some more downside/pullback/correction before a further move to the upside ?

Time will tell, trade what you see - not what you think should happen. The above is just one of any number of possible future price discovery scenarios.

c. Ongoing covid vaccination roll-out, and economic data and central bank indicators of a recovery. (U.s and Uk.)

d. Biden's economic and covid recovery plan that starts to become reality on Jan 20th.
