JB, I truly admire your confidence in the TA only. I am at the camp who believes that combining both the TA and FA will give reasonable outcome for a short term trading outlook e.g. 1-5 days.

Yes, ultimately price moves first BUT price moves because of the expectations on the the FA events. With all due respect - when scientists are unable to forecast with 21st century supercomputers and statistical modelling weather reliably longer than 3 days, then I tend to take any the long-term forecasts with a pinch of salt.

The fact that GU is sitting at 20 years low does not mean that GU should start to appreciate just because of that. I also do not think that monthly candles might give reliable outlook what will happen next month with GU.

Short term candles e.g. H4/H1 tell very good story for intraday setups due to the psychological factors of everyone staring at the same patterns and perhaps some of those who can move price, acting accordingly short term (and sometimes cheating the poor retail sentiment out of their pants).

I hope you have profit locked safely in from your tower of longs

what is the point of your post, he posted his thoughts when market was flat, you post after market has moved a little, anyone can do anything retrospectively, some of what you say is good, some is garbage Im thinking, cheers mate

1.3625 critical resistance now playing firm with the crossing now been experienced at 1.3522 if the resistance is reestablished at the later price then the fall could see us landing at 3281 to cool off the steam. Bears holding strong for a happy new year celebration

Reasons for GBP’s lacklustre performance:
1. Hard Brexit is likely to reduce investment into UK
2. Service sector not included in “deal”
3. UK low productivity to continue
4. possibility of a no deal still in play
