As long as people reply to No-KPMG he/she will just carry on feeding on your reactions, very clever posts which have amused me for sometime, people say idiot, no quite the oppose, ends up laughing while everyone gets angry, post your negative comments and name calling he/she has heard them a thousands times before just look at the history, water off a ducks back, but people will react and the entertainment will carry on, fine by me as its the major reason I come on this thread, right cup of tea now and wait for the show

He should be removed and I agree. Unless the thread moderator/s are encouraging such acts, I don’t see why he shouldn’t be removed.

I think the forum creator is no longer present. He has not responded in 9 years. Here admins from Forexfactory have to become active in order to eliminate the problem.

I agree. Based on what I’ve read about the deal it won’t be dropping like a stone.

Harmful to many industries but not as harmful as it could have been & the media in the U.K. at least will play a success for the time being.

the real repocussions will become known in time & it all still hinges on votes being made for or against so still some uncertainty going forward.

Hi, hope you had a good xmas day. I think with the labour party (with some rebels voting against/abstaining) backing it as Kier Starmer had indicated (3 line whip,) what the right wing of the tory party (so called 'ERG,') and N.I's DUP does is somewhat/probably negated/neutralised, so a good chance it will pass in Uk. A good chance it will pass in Eu also, after y/day's Eu Ambassadors' meeting with Barnier. That said, this is Brexit - so anything can happen!

never seen people correlate this site XE.COM with opening prices. are folk saying it correlates highly?

I don't think so, ... just seeing what the 'implied' rate is pre market, to get an idea re chances, and scale, of any gap @ respective brokers' open.

All pre-market rates, be it from Xe.com, CNBC, Bloomberg, Barchart or whatever sites are merely just guidance, they don't reflect the entire market. Having said that, there are some truth in it.

Having said this, I do not believe we will truly open with a crazy huge gap down. For Christ's sake, if you look at other GBP pairs, GBP/JPY was at 133 at some point. That's a 900 pips gap down.

The last I checked XE, Cable was at 1.3550. Now, it is 1.3443. It goes to show how much fluctuations are going on and this is not a true reflection of what will happen when market opens. You don't get 100 pips candles every 5 minutes, do you?

I believe premarket rates (at the moment), indicate we see a gap down. Maybe 100ish pips down, although I think we gap down 50 pips thereabout.

Things are not looking food for bulls-this looks like a classic buy the rumor, sell the fact. Even when market was still open on Christmas Eve, as the press conference was held, GBP pairs were dropping rather rapidly (although it gained back around 20-30pips before close).

My guess on what happens on opening bell-gap down 50 pips and selling continues to down around 120-150 pips before we see some bouncing upwards.

Well it’s the live price for buying and selling over the weekend. That’s the actual market.

that said it could easy swing up or down in minutes so really the only thing that matters is what it opens at.

Agreed. The biggest clause is there are no tarrifs on imports or exports. But there are industries such as broadcasting that will be hit hard with the deal.

im not going to read the 500 pages tho so greatly relying on others analysis.

Expect nothing to be to drastic until it’s voted on both sides of the channel.

XE is showing random numbers over the weekend...we have been over this million times, I don't know why its still a discussion. Those numbers are just random numbers, nothing more. 2 hours before market opens on sunday is the first time you get somehow realistic numbers. Saturday it could show GU at 1.5 or 1.0 and it wouldn't mean anything.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.
