Amusing reading some of the comments to the relative lack of reaction to the trade deal announcement earlier today here on ff, people wondering why cable was not flying. There was always going to be a deal, the banks knew it and institutional investors knew it, so everything was already priced in. My prediction is for sterling to have a very good year, reaching 1.5 to the US dollar or higher. Against the euro, who cares, it's a crap pair to trade anyway. GBP/USD though is another story altogether, and it's going to be pretty much a one-way ticket as the dollar falls relative to all the other major currencies, and the pound rises. Here's my 2021 outlook for cable. Obviously, it won't go straight up, and it may well find stiff resistance on the monthly 100sma ( navy dash ) but I reckon 1.5 or higher is a good enough bet. Technically it's on for sure.

People who put others on ignore list auth to be psychopaths but they just don’t know it yet. It’s a trading activity space and we are always going to get different views and approaches.

until and unless 3625 breaks, i am skeptical. it is previous high.
