I do not trade with this logic, I do my own analysis and looking at the data out of interest and for some confirmation. If you had bothered to actually read my posts on the matter, instead of jumping to the conclusion that FF data is useless without researching it, you would have realised this.

The data is most relevant when the data flips its long/short status, making it useful for swing traders, and I swing trade.

If you overlay the historical FF long and short data on a GBPUSD daily chart, it becomes clear that even if a trader DID blindly go long on short data, then closed out and went short when the data flipped long, they would become a pofitable swing trader.

As of this morning at market open, I am short GBPUSD

So CFTC data as of the 16th is flat eh?
Yet, you said they were long, based on the presumption that more shorts were taken out.
CFTC data is very lagging, as a result, you indicated it's value is limited.
Yet, at the same time, you say it's the only data that counts.

Well, based on research, I beg to differ, particularly for swing traders. For a recent example, Just take a look at where FF data flipped short , and we don't have to wait 4 days or whatever to recieve the data and take the opposite trade

I said as of dec 8th they were long. again you are an amateur who doesn't bother to read. read all my previous posts. as of dec 16th both long and shorts are trimmed and same amount is there in the market. again dec 23rd data you will get on dec 28th

Then, without doing any research of his own on the data, Giveachance presumptuously attacks its value. On top of this, he doesn't remember what he posts himself.
