Give it a shot in the extent that I will take note of his entry, SL and TP;

In essence, you don't need someone give their secret, work with little
he gave... Nobody will give his system because not that they don't want to
but because its very difficult to explain....
How do you want me to explain a system that took him years to build?

nessus94, I believe I have a good system/method/strategy of trading and I posted everything that I use here on FF forums. You can find this information in my profile. I encourage people to ask questions if something is unclear or if they want to know how I see things from my perspective. my system telling me to go long/short, ...possible flat correction, possible expanded flat, zig-zag in making, watch for Gartley, the right shoulder is forming, or Weekly R1 pivot is going to be hit, S/D zone at... etc.
2) People who post here for 6-12 years and still are in the woods seeking Holy Grail.
3) People who don't believe that they have an ability to exist on their own in this business and come here only for trading signals ( entry/exit) etc. They are not interested in learning only "making money". They look for a fish, not a fishing pole...
4) Self-proclaimed GURUS...
As stated by many traders here anyone who is serious about trading should develop their own method of trading which will agree with her/his personality, tolerance for risk, and so on. Good luck to every one of you.
Always trade your own plan...I don't provide trading signals.

Hi Guys,

In line with all the comments, I just want to give my view and no pun intended.
To chime in on the topic of posting trades or trading systems here. We all post trades for different reasons. Some for gaining recognition, some for gaining followers, some for an ego trip, some for socializing, some hoping to get critique on their trading systems or trade entries and so the list goes on. The most sinister reason of course are those who try and lure traders and especially new traders into paid systems and more often than not turn out to be false hopes and promises and ultimately scams. I am sure, however, that these people are quickly exposed, but unfortunately at the expense of gullible traders.

Here's the thing though. I don't think that any trader should be slated for posting their trades, or boasting about their winnings and so forth. Throw 100 people in a room for a period of time and you will soon find that some are egotistical, some are narcissistic, some are skeptics, some are bossy, some are happy go lucky, some are introverted, and so forth. We choose who we want to be friends with according to our own personalities and this is how society works. It is very much the same in trading forums. We have all walks of life here.

I post my trades and my system for the following reasons:

I keep a journal of all my trades which I can go back on. The reason I quote all my posts. In this way, I get a pattern of my trade decisions and my thinking at the time of entering a trade. Very useful and everyone should try this. FF is an ideal place to keep a journal.

It helps me to stay on top of my game especially knowing that traders are observing,

If I can help other traders with my charts and thinking then I know I have achieved something.

If I get recognition for this, it makes me feel good and inspires me to give more.

To summarize. It is a win-win situation for me and I hope others.

Some great posts in here guys. I haven’t posted in the GBPUSD update thread for perhaps 6 or 7 years.

My view is this place is fine for general conversation about cable and news around the pair, but it has nothing to do with trading. Being right or even arguing on a public forum has nothing to do with trading. Internet notoriety is not going to pay the bills.

It's very possible to have a bullish view on the pound and still make money on the sell side if your strategy is offering a sell setup, or you're adapting to fresh price information. Everyone here is going to have a very different approach.

I would highly recommend those new to go find those with a strategy/style that resonates with them and then go off and from part of a small community or thread of likeminded traders.

This place is still useful for keeping tabs on news events and general pound chat or just for entertainment value, but not anything more.

Those who are purely looking for trade signals are wasting valuable learning time.

What will be interesting for me too see is the BUYs he called SM was positioning into (late in the past week), must start to bear fruit in the next near future, if that is going to happen, I will see his calling as just that : building credibility for future use.

In my eyes nothing wrong with that
