The bearish engulf failed ,but still were in range.Range is tricky candles.
There isn't a bearish monthly signal in place right now
When it gets below 1.2 it leave's almighty wicks to the South

I see 2 possible bounce zones for bulls...first between 2500-2750...and if 2500 broke, 1750-2000 as the second. Tough to predict specific numbers with pound's volatility, money managent is more important than anything else with this pair.

I don’t think it’s smart or dumb money, they just follow volume and trade in the same direction as the delta/ extreme volume is moving. When a move starts often around London open, the first volume spikes are around 4-8 times average volume as measured on the 1 minute chart. If candle 2 and 3 maintain a higher than average volume reading (about double average size), they will start adding more volume to create expansion on a chart - therefore encourage the trend to continue.
Its as simple as that

i would say we have a bit of assymetric risk here on cable.
On Sunday I don’t think we will have a deal. All Sunday will be is whether talks will continue or not ... which is basically where we are at the minute ... if talks don’t continue then that’s it no deal brexit and I guess GBPUSD Will tank 1.20-1.25 area..
The market for sure hasn’t priced in a no deal brexit the recent sell off I think we are at around 80% deal to be done.. So I feel we aren’t even at 50% for deal no deal..

anything positive I think around 300’point move and when I mean positive I mean deal done ..

im loaded short so you see what I want hahaha

Ehsank you have to weigh up how much of the possible ‘good’ news is priced in.

if the market was expecting a Deal to be made then the markets been pricing it in.

which really means if a deal was suddenly pulled out of a hat it would rise a little, if talks continue equally might open up, if talks were to end completely and you get the media talking about gun boats etc then it could open down considerably.

BREXIT is the single biggest long term hit to the British economy in 50 years

Historic size drops to the downside are very possible.
