Short EJ +5 locked didn't get into this trade until 3rd bar as a continuation, it panned out

I do generally like to see that, though not part of the rules. This was short lived as it came crashing back down. But the stop protected it and got to the +5 level

Agreed. What made you enter there, Acolyte? Be wary of chasing a trade. There's always another one and often after a big momentum move like that, a retrace will come all the way back and give you either a potentially better entry or a HOLO trade.
Yeah, that's what happening to me quite often - I rush for an entry without evaluating it deep enough. It appears to me as satisfying primary rules, but I fail to assess other conditions and hope for the best. Though my profit-to-stoploss ratio is 2-3, it is in need of further improvement by doing prior assessment before making an entry.

Good stuff. If you are aware of the issue then it is fixable. Keep at it, it'll come.

I'd also be cautious of the old school R:R trade management style here. Not really best suited...however each to their own and trade what works for you.

There is NOTHING TO EVALUATE!!

Follow the rules. Once in the trade, manage your money. Protect your money from large losses. Protect small wins from becoming losses.

Do not attempt to make adjustments to the method instead adjust yourself.

And that idea of adjusting self is the hardest, and that's what I meant in the first place. I've been trading for a while, adjusting myself to different methods, and this time it's no different.
