Because there are headlines regarding a deal... the news is dictating the price at the moment... this is being driven by fundamentals against a strong political headwind.

An old adage in investing... buy the rumour ... sell the news.

A deal & even if it rises first... this will still drop

I don't think that's the case.
1.3366 broke yesterday and a retest is currently going on.

I am stacking more bulls at the said level and if it goes below..

Sold at resistance 1.3438 with 10 pips stop, collected some pips. Really easy trade.

Will it rebound? Quite possibly. But this is a preview of what's to come. There is no deal at the moment, and there seems to be no easy path towards one. And maybe no political will either, on the UK side.

retro retro, 3438 was like over half an hour ago, how about putting trade entry up before it plunges

There is lots of negative news around today regarding brexit... it would not have dropped if it wasn't.

This will drop hundreds of pips in quick concession if news drops that talks have fallen apart or we are guaranteed a no deal, or a bare bones deal.

G/M, 1st attempt at the prev 1hr/4hr sw hi zone leading to y/day's 3442 hi gets rebuffed by sellers via a precipitous fall down to the 61.8% 3284-3442/76.4% 3315-3442/Dly S1 where some buyers found....1hr below.
