you can consider the COWABUNGA approach and make some simple changes to it and create a new trading system of your own.

give it a proper name and not trading made simple ....

make sure you test 'other things' with 1,000 trades, 2,000 trades, 3,000 trades...

and you will know if the 'other things' were detrimental to your own trading.

if your trading can be improved say with better entries and exits, and your trading results is better than before,

then the 'other things' added are not detriment.

you are the trader you trade with your own money therefore you have to decide.

let your own experience and knowledge guide you as you develop to become a better trader.

It's really great if you find something beyond what BigE presented, but he made it clear that THIS thread is not the place to discuss it.

There would not be Trading Made Simple today if Eric was not invited to that CompassFX webinar 11 years ago.

We all must thank our lucky stars to have a method with simple rules for entries and exits.

I have spent a considerable amount of time learning Candlesticks, Now I don't want to follow candlesticks that is why I started to use HA. I know people go HA to candlesticks, I am just doing the opposite, I agree with Big E, HA is much better and You will feel much comfortable with HA.
If you look at the chart you after forming those candlesticks you will search for selling opportunities. If you follow HA and 5 EMA you know you need to buy because PA is above 5 ema.
Eliminating Guessing as much as we can is better.

Go by what BigE has posted.
Post#54..... A set up is NOT GREEN TOUCHING RED. Why? Many times green bounces back and the original direction continues. That's a bounce trade.
Post 115 A bounce trade is when green gets close to red but bounces away and the original trade continues are good entries generally.

Difficult to explain what a bounce is based on how you see green gets close to red.
(It is the same with how long is a piece of string)

Mr.RH doesn't like to use Support and resistance, Look S&R has some good advantages but you never know which s&R will hold. According to the daily chat of GU we are in Key resistance level candlesticks support selling but people who follow s&r they will not buy next week, If RH found a good buying set up in the lower timeframe I am sure he will buy.
Personally, if I found a good sell setup in LTF I will sell and I will try to get Half of the rage lower side. I found a good buying setup I will buy too. TO me S&R is for market structure understanding but I will act according to my system, Yes according to S&R I may exit early or hold a little longer.

Or, what if that weekly is showing a RALLY to the W16 down swing?

And the lower TF down trends, as seen on H4, are cycling further downwards that bring higher TFs into down continuations to W16?

Don't count your trends until they are hatched on lower TFs.

he says at the 2nd bar you can enter "Crossover Trade".

The conditions for "Continuation Trade" are not complete.

However, maybe after the next bar, (when it closes) I can enter "Continuation Trade".

Now the last bar is closed:

under EMA 5,
Curent Slope 4.2 [cross]
Stoch 18:00 -> 16:00 (cross signal in 80 area)
TDI 18:00 -> 16:00

Are the requirements for a sale met, as Big E says?

I am no expert, I can tell you what I understand after reading RH Method,
As you said, RH has 2 setups one is continuation another is cross trade setup.
I hope this picture will help you. Don't forget he always prefers HTF Trend following entry. He recommends trade-only directions of the HTF Too.
He also said we can only follow one TF signal too but following HTF is his recommendation.
To my little knowledge, I understand About RH is Method is
Buying the deep
Selling the rally
Without any confusion.
I assume He said That is as a Method because Traders need to filter out some losing trade by their understanding or adding some Indicator or any other ways.
The good thing about RH is Rh Recommended a lot of exit ideas. I found HMA 12/3 is performed much better than 70% of the indicators available. and BIG E 5/2 ema is Magic, I love and respect both of them.

Hasbib, just remember. Heikin Ashi charts aim to help isolating the "trend" better and so they might be not as choppy to look at like the additional detail and precise pricing you will get with a standard candlestick chart. They do nothing else, the entry at 1.3200 will still be the entry at 1.3200 at time and chart frame you look at the moment you decide to press buy or sell.

Unless you donīt find a clear trading procesure where Heiken Ashi charts will give you a clear backed edge (by numbers) over what ever else chart type you look at this will be of no advantage to you. I suggest spend less time with studying indicators and charts and more time with managing your risk and trades you opened and the related discipline needed to executing what ever entry/exit you use accurately over the long run without adding or changing a thing.

By the way i had a look at that FTMO thing. You know they are not funding you a real 100 or 150k trading account right? All you get is a demo account even after the fact you passed what ever challenge. They then simply forward your trades to the real market (if so) (or similar) and you might be able to withdraw 70% of the profits after a month considering you didnīt break a single rule of their terms of conditions (better also read the small print).

Not only that you also pay upfront for a demo account. You pay for a demo, think about it... I guess this pays off huge for them, knowing the fact at least 90% will fail to even pass that challenge. You donīt get a refund here for the money you spend for the initial demo account. Only and only if you pass. I guess many will give up or even paying second, third, fourth time and fail over and over again before moving on to the next big thing...

You also have incredible strict rules to follow then month by month in case of a max. allowed daily and total drawdown as well as beeing forced to make sure meeting a tons of more rules like taking care not to trade at news times and much more before you will see any of the money.

So not only you are then fighting the markets (that is pure pain on its own). On top of that you even have to make sure to play by the prop trading company's internal rules.

Better trade your own money even if thats small. If you able to consistently make a percentage turn from it months after month you will easily find some private investors throwing money at you at much better rates where you then can play your own rules (if you then still need more money to make a living of or what ever the plan is).
