The thing with pound...a 200 pip profit can easily turn into a 200 pip loss...I wouldn't hold any position so long, but thats me.

Same here I close all my trades at the end of the trading day. The problem with cable is that the ATR has gone down the tube lately (probably because of Brexit) so there are less good trading opportunities.

I warned you guys, yet so many want to sell at the range of 1.315x to 1.318x. Pfft. A stubborn ox asked me for advice 3 days ago and I told him to close his GU sells when it came down, he refused and added more sells at 1.311x and he calls himself a trader.

Also just saw the stubborn deluded ox ignored me here, lol. Well, when he was having his panties in a bunch, I gave him an intraday 130 pips trade and gave him another trade to hedge against when GU tested 1.33 a few days ago. This is what I get, cool. I do know he has GU sells at 1.3080 and AU sells at 0.7235, so once these two pairs move up big (AU looks like it will move to 0.7360), I know his account will go deep red, trololol.

Good weekend to all. I ran an experiment this week, made a 2.6k profit using 1k capital, so will be rewarding myself big this weekend.

It depends on their trading system. Swing or scalp, whichever way you see it buying at 1.3200 is still top area for this year only.

Once 2021 kicks in, buying at 1.30/1.32 will be a long term bargain as price looks set to attack 1.43 area.

Here is my analysis of why i think we could be heading into the third phase of a correction

On the daily chart, the major trend in blue is clearly up, the intermediate in red, clearly up, the minor waves are the price bars within each red swing.

Now if we drop down to the 4H you can clearly see that each one of the minor waves has a trend within it corrective or impulsive, so why should the current minor wave be any different to the rest? and i have never seen a minor correction with only one swing, the problem we have is we do not know what shape the correction will take , it could be sideways, or sharp.

This does not mean we should blindly go short without waiting for other confirmation signals.

My guess would be Boris wants to make some shitty deal with the EU, just so he doesn't get the heat for a no-deal brexit.

...so, price closed right at it's hi, and recovered 76.4% of the thursday 3228-3107 fall right at Friday's dly R1/said 76.4% fib, these @ top of the prev 1hr/4hr sw hi/lo then 1hr hi zone . 50% of the total 3314-3107 fall is next upside fib @ 3211. 61.8% of same is @ 3235. No sign of the right shoulder on the potential 4hr H&S yet.

Next week probably key re Brexit negotiations so could see a bumpy week. I wonder if Uk Pm's loss of his 2 closest (and rabid brexiteer) advisors this week signals that a deal is more likely ?
