Thanks man, i adjust my trading style based on market, if its trending then i hold but if ranging then yes i go for smaller number of pips.
This gold move for me was a 100% sure thing as gold has been reacting aggressively with covid/vaccine news

Hocus pokus,, there are no signs of price changing direction from up to down, not as of yet , those tiny minor swings we saw this morning trending or not do no change what is happening with the larger degree trend, corrections make trends.

No idea what is happening, risk on/off play happening becuase of the vaccine is my guess.

Yes, its a game of patience, and this vaccine news didn't help, or maybe it helped actually

Lets see how stock market open, see if they fade the news or buy into it. But buying into it after a 4% rise...risky

Bad news => stocks go up on stimulus / low rates expectation.
Good news => stocks go up on business optimism.

I guess this may be shortened to news => stocks go up.
[I personally think equity indices will have to break down with vengeance, but it is so difficult to time.]
