Seeing that I am in a cyclic uptrend my strategy has been to buy a low as possible. Elections or not. The idea is to lock in quickly and hopefully when the results come out, there will be a spike in the right direction with some surving trades, even if some some trail stops are taken out . So far working for me and of course I am not greedy.
