Hello everyone, i want to hear your opinions on something that happened to me today....
today i made 80% growth on my account, whether you believe me or not doesnt matter, what matters is i want to hear your guys opinions on if thats gambling or legit trading, i feel like i did everything i normally would have on a trading day i just said for science im gonna risk like 20% of my equity on a few trades. Gambling or not? i cant decide, does it matter? who knows, so many tricky things to think about in the probabilities of trading.

Thanks my friend, its just interesting to see what happens when you go against the traditional "risk 1% gain 3%" or "have a 1:3 RRR" mentality in trading, these are the things i love about trading, the unknown of what happens when you go off the "normal" path, maybe thats where the true gold is in trading

basically a full send trade this one, after yesterday red day i doubled my lot and ran a terrible RR (somethings i dont reccomend) but i was very bias for the fall and had to break my rules, wish green to all

If you know you have a positive expectancy over the long run, backed by a track record and stats, then no it is not gambling.

If you just risked 20% today for the fun of it and now can't decide if it is gambling or not, then you are.

IF you Traded "Edges" -Things you noticed that had a 'Higher Chance of Working Out',
Then, you were trading about as best you could.
-Sometimes we get bumped into a trade- like that Brexit (Spike) today & those are
know as "Unknown Forces." -No one can plan for that. -IF you made money off of that Great,
But that's not a Viable, "Edge". -Again they were "Unknown Forces."

All we do in here is work the "Edges" we know, -some on Big TF's, Some on Littler Ones
& we take our Ducket$ & Go home. Regardless, Great Work today.
Buy that Book "Trading in the Zone" by Mark Douglas, w/some of your Winnings.
You'll Do even greater...
