I understood you perfectly. But it really shouldnt bring more risk and drawdown, because you just trade lesser amounts... sorry for repeating myself, but perhaps I wasnt clear enough earlier.
And If it does bring more risk and drawdown even with trading the lowest trade unit you can, then perhaps a broker with smaller trade units is the answer. If no matter what the risk is too big for the reward, then perhaps the problem is not the timeframe, but the strategy itself or the money management used.
Perhaps your real problem is your broker doesnt have small enough units to trade with? I trade with Oanda and there is practically no minimum to trade, so money management can be respected, no matter the strategy or timeframe. Its great, been with them for +10 years. Never a problem.
