Gatenio, it is not that bad, but it is bad enough. The issue is about Ireland, and any US trade deal (and in fact, normal relations with US) will be impossible if Irish question is not sorted out. And no normal relations with EU either. So this government is already in a big row with China over Hong Kong, and now EU and US are going to irk out about Ireland and reneging on international treaty. One can add historically bad relations with Russia, for a good measure, and the "international Britain" that was promised by Brexiters suddenly shrinks to a small island somewhere in North Sea.

It's ok, I signed up to it, it's not an issue for me to stop posting for a month.
Just quietly focussing on my own analysis for a while will do my account balance no harm, of that I am sure.

It may of course bounce for 50/100 pips (always a possibility with G/U). For a bigger retrace, the problem is... what good news can there be? The current selloff is due to Brexit row. It can be defused if Johnson rows back and explains that he actually did not mean to renege on treaty. However, I can't see him doing it. Only on Monday he sent an email to Conservative voters saying "I will not back down". As always, he will try to lie his way out, but this time it's really difficult.

One thing that he can do is to postpone the publication of the bill which is due today. If this happens, then yes, it would be good news, and the market may rally.

I understood it this way as well, 1.28000 vs 1.35000.
Does not really matter, imo, 1.28 is on its way.
