It will happen, but not yet. Probably another week of consolidation first.

I say to those waiting for the gap from Friday close to be filled that GU might go back to around 1.3280 but that is not to fill the gap because market don't need to always fill the gap at exact price.
Some brokers have high for today 1.3265, others 1.3270, that is close enough to Friday close.
My technical analysis leading trades depend on Daily/Weekly/Monthly Chart

there are quite alot of factors.
Not just who gets to fish where but where the fish can be sold.
The impact on France, Belguim, Netherlands and Scandanavian countries would be large.

I agree that market does not react to Brexit news in the same way as before, actually I had a post on this just yesterday.
https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...3#post13151513

The issue is, the market sort of stopped reacting to _any_ negative news about UK. My guess is, it will suddenly "remember" all of these news when it decides to drop pound. But I would be interested to hear your view.

You really think that EU would forfeit access to its Single Market for the sake of fisheries?
No access to British waters is a short-term problem, and given the size of this economy sector, won't cost that much even if all fishermen in Europe become unemployed.
Access to Single Market will be for a very long time, and will send the message to all EU countries that you may exit EU and hold it to ransom over some small economic issue, and to all other countries, that EU is "weak".
It just won't happen.
